Chili Bowls

6 (6 oz ea)Bridgford Frozen Demi-Loaves, White or Honey Wheat
1/4 cupmelted butter or margarine

Let Bridgford Demi-Loaves thaw until pliable. Cut each loaf in half. With lightly floured hands, shape each dough piece into a ball. Place balls 3 inches apart on lightly greased sheet pan. Brush dough with melted butter. Let bowls rise in a warm place until tripled in size. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately to cool on rack. To make Chili Bowls, slice off tops of bowls and hollow by pinching out bread with fingers. Brush cut-side of tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese if desired. Toast bowl and top by placing in oven or under broiler. Fill with chili and top with grated cheese and/or onions.

Note: For larger bread bowls, use 1 whole Demi-Loaf for each bowl.
