Lemon Zeppole (Italian Fried Doughnuts)

1 sheetBridgford Frozen Sopapilla Bites
1-2 cupsgranulated sugar
Zest of 1 lemon

Mix sugar with lemon zest; set aside. Remove sheet of Bridgford Sopapillas from freezer. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees. Place frozen squares of dough in fryer. Coat the tops with oil as it begins to puff up.  Turn pieces over.  Keep turning over until dough is a light golden brown (1-2 minutes). Remove from oil to drain on paper towels.

While still hot, coat in lemon sugar. Serve warm.
