1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
2/3 cup | pizza sauce |
2 cups | shredded mozzarella cheese |
¼ cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
1 cup | Bridgford Pepperoni, finely chopped |
Olive oil, for brushing | |
Extra pizza sauce for dipping (optional) |
Lightly grease or line with parchment a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; set aside. Thaw dough according to package directions. Place thawed dough on a lightly floured surface. With rolling pin, roll dough out to a 15 x 12-inch rectangle. Top evenly with pizza sauce, shredded cheese, Parmesan, and pepperoni. From 12- inch side, roll up and seal. With sharp knife, slice the roll into 12 equal slices. Place cut-side-up on prepared pan, 3 across and 4 down (about 1 inch apart). Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Let rise until double in size. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and brush with additional olive oil. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Yield: 12 Rolls*
*Double this recipe and place 24 rolls on a prepared half sheet pan (18 x 13”), 4 across and 6 down. Bake for an additional 5 -10 minutes.
