½ cup | melted butter |
3 | garlic cloves, finely minced |
1 teaspoon | Italian seasoning |
½ cup | grated Parmesan cheese (optional) |
Lightly grease sheet pan(s); set aside. Mix butter with garlic, seasoning and Parmesan cheese; set aside. Place thawed pieces of Bridgford roll dough on a lightly floured surface. With floured hands, gently roll each piece into a rope 6 inches long. Tie each rope into a loose knot and place on prepared pan(s) 2-3 inches apart. Tuck the two ends of each knot underneath. Brush lightly with garlic-herb butter. Let rise in warm area until double in size. Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with additional garlic-herb butter. Let cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm.
