Christmas Tree Coffeecake

1 loafBridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed
4 tablespoonsmelted butter, divided use
2 teaspoonscinnamon
½ cupgranulated sugar
¼ cupraisins (optional
½ cupchopped walnuts (optional)
Icing (recipe below)

Lightly grease (or line with parchment) a large sheet pan; set aside.

Place thawed dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut off a small piece of dough for the trunk of the tree; set aside. Roll out large piece of dough to a ¼ -inch thin circle (12-14 inches in diameter). Spread 2 tablespoons of melted butter over dough. Mix cinnamon, sugar, raisins, and nuts.  Sprinkle mixture evenly over dough. With back of spoon or palms of hand, gently press dry filling into dough. Bring the 3 sides of the circle together and pinch edges to form a triangle. Seal seams. Place seam-side-down on prepared pan. With pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut slashes down the top 2 sides of triangle. Each slice approximately 1-inch apart and 3-inches deep.  Twist and open slices, flatten slightly. Take remaining small piece of dough and form into a ball. Place at base of tree. Brush tree with melted butter and let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, brush again with melted butter. When cool, drizzle with icing (recipe below). Decorate with gum drops or other holiday candies, if desired.

Icing: Mix 2 cups powdered sugar with ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and 1-2 tablespoons of milk or water.  Drizzle over rolls.
