Air-Fried Cuban-Style Sandwiches

2 loavesBridgford Frozen Ready-Dough, thawed
2 tablespoonsolive oil
8thin slices deli ham
8slices Swiss Cheese
2 cupsshredded cooked pork
24round pickle slices, drained and patted dry
1 cupthinly sliced red onion
Mustard (deli or grain)

Lightly grease 1-2 sheet pans; set aside. Place thawed loaves on a lightly floured surface. Brush tops of dough with olive oil and let it set out until puffy or has begun to start rising.

Divide each loaf of dough into 4 equal size pieces. On lightly floured board, roll out each piece into a 6- inch rectangle. Place 1 teaspoon (or more if you like lots of mustard) on dough and spread with back of spoon. Fold slice of ham in half and place on one side of the rectangle, over the mustard. Top with ¼ cup shredded pork, 2-3 pickles slices and some slices of onion. Place a slice of Swiss cheese (fold cheese in half if needed) on top. Fold dough over and pinch seams to close. When each is sealed, use a fork to crimp the edges to further seal. Brush Cuban sandwich top lightly with olive oil. Place on prepared sheet pan(s).

To air fry, spray tray with pan release or lightly brush with olive oil. Heat air fryer to 375°F.  Place one Cuban sandwich in air fryer. Brush top of sandwich lightly with olive oil. Close air fryer and cook for 7 minutes or until golden brown and heated through. Continue with remaining sandwiches.

For oven baking, preheat oven to 400°F. Bake sandwiches on sheet pan(s) for 12 -14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm.
