Leaves change beautiful colors as if by magic and most importantly, it&#8217;s the start of baking season!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-585 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Apple-Pie-Pizza.jpg\" alt=\"Apple-Pie-Pizza\" width=\"360\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This dessert pizza is delicious and so simple! The most time consuming part of this recipe is waiting for it to finish baking. Everything else? Easy as (pizza) pie!<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s get started&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 loaf <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/where-to-buy\/\">Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough\u00ae<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 can apple pie filling of choice, 21 oz.<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon melted butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup softened butter<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>Caramel ice cream topping (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Use the microwave thawing instructions for your dough, it takes a matter of minutes. If you don&#8217;t want to bake right away, let it sit out in a warm place, free of drafts for about 3 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2232\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/apple-pizza-dough-800x5881.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"273\" height=\"201\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once your dough is pliable, form it into a ball. Flatten it slightly and roll it out on a clean, lightly floured surface. If your dough shrinks back while you are rolling, let it rest for 5 minutes and come back to it. Once it is formed into the shape of a pizza, place it on a lightly greased, 12 inch pizza pan. With the tines of a fork, prick the dough several times, covering the entire surface.
