Classic Cinnamon and Salted Caramel! YUM.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s get started!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 package <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/where-to-buy\/\">Bridgford Parkerhouse Style Roll Dough<\/a>\/li>\n<li>Standard size OVEN SAFE coffee mugs, 8 oz. (the ingredients below yield 2 mugs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For Classic Cinnamon:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons melted butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For Salted Caramel:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons melted butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon caramel topping of choice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/6202-pkg-trans.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-17.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thaw 8 to 10 Parkerhouse Rolls according to the package directions. This takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. Then, roll each dough piece into a ball and cut in half, creating 16 to 20 pieces. For one standard size, 8 oz. coffee mug use 8 dough pieces (4 rolls). The mugs I used were slightly bigger, so I used 10 dough pieces (5 rolls) per mug.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For Classic Cinnamon: evenly combine cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lightly grease the inside of your coffee mug.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-6.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-7.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Heat 2 tablespoons (1\/4 of a stick) of butter in a microwave safe dish until melted, let it cool slightly. Dip each piece of dough in melted butter, then in the cinnamon\/sugar mixture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-8.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Layer the dough pieces at the bottom of your coffee mug and let rise until double in size, which take approximately 30 minutes to an hour.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-10.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The dough pieces should reach a little bit more than halfway to the top of the mug.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-9.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For Salted Caramel: Evenly combine cinnamon, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and sea salt in a small bowl. Repeat the previous steps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-11.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Give the top of you dough pieces another slight sprinkle of sea salt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-12.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Place both mugs on a cookie sheet. You might even want to layer your cookie sheet with parchment paper, just in case some of that cinnamon\/sugar goodness drips down the sides. Bake in a preheated 375\u00b0\u00a0oven for 25-30 minutes. The bread should be well browned and sound hollow when tapped on top.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bridgford.com\/bread\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/coffee-mug-bread-13.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget the finishing touches for the Salted Caramel! Drizzle your favorite caramel topping on top. Be sure to let them cool before serving.
