1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
1 ½ cups | finely chopped pecans |
½ cup | firmly packed brown sugar |
¼ cup | softened butter |
1 | egg |
1 tsp | orange extract |
Marmalade Glaze: | |
2 cups | powdered sugar |
1 ½ cups | orange marmalade |
1 Tbsp | melted butter |
1 ½ tsp | orange extract |
Mix together pecans, brown sugar and softened butter. Add egg and orange extract, mix well. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out to a 10 x 12 inch rectangle. Spread pecan filling evenly over dough. Beginning with the 12-inch side, tightly roll-up dough, jelly-roll fashion. Pinch to seal seams and ends. Slice the dough log into 9 even slices. Place slices, cut side down, in a greased 8-inch square baking pan in rows of three. Let rise until doubled or until the rolls rise to the top of the pan. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown. Immediately invert rolls onto wire rack. Using another cooling rack or a large plate, invert the rolls again so that they are right side up. Spread warm rolls with the glaze. Glaze: Combine glaze ingredients and mix until smooth.
