1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
3 tbsp | melted butter or margarine |
2 tbsp | dried chopped chives |
2 tbsp | minced parsley |
½ tsp | dill or thyme |
¼ tsp | garlic powder |
¼ tsp | salt |
1/8 tsp | pepper |
1 | egg |
2 tbsp | sesame or poppy seeds |
On a lightly floured board, roll dough out to a 12 x 14 inch rectangle. Spread melted butter over dough. Mix herbs and spices together and sprinkle over butter. Beginning with the 14-inch side roll dough tightly in jelly-roll fashion. Pinch dough along edge to seal. Cut dough roll into 12 equal pieces. Place each piece seam side down on a lightly greased cookie sheet pan. Mix egg with 2 tablespoons water and brush on each roll. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds. Allow to rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
