1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed or |
1 pkg | Bridgford Frozen White Rolls Dough, thawed |
Remove dough from freezer and place in greased metal or foil loaf pan. Let loaf thaw and rise according to package directions (approximately 4 hours at room temperature). Bake in covered grill for 20-30 minutes over medium indirect heat by charcoal or gas methods below.
Charcoal Method: Arrange coals to the sides of fuel grate (about 25 coals on each side). There should be no coals in the middle of barbecue. Ignite charcoal. Leave cover off until coals have a light coating of gray ash (about thirty minutes). Place the loaf pan with risen bread on the cooking rack over the center. Put lid on barbecue and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and removes easily from pan.
Gas Method: Turn on one side of gas barbecue to medium heat. Close lid to barbecue and let heat for about 15-20 minutes. Place pan containing the risen loaf on the opposite side of barbecue so that the bread is not directly over the heat. (If using a gas grill with three burners, turn on the front and back burners.) Place bread on middle of cooking rack (where heat is less direct). Close barbecue lid and let bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and removes easily from pan.
