Jalapeño Cheese Breadsticks

1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ cup chopped, canned jalapeño peppers (or diced green chiles)

Lightly grease a large sheet pan; set aside. On a lightly floured surface roll out dough to a 10 x 14 inch rectangle. If dough shrinks back after rolling, let rest for 10 minutes and then continue rolling. Carefully transfer rectangle of dough to prepared sheet pan. Brush dough with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with cheese and peppers. With a pizza slicer or sharp knife, cut the dough into 1-inch strips. Do not move strips. Let the dough rise until puffy (45 minutes – 1 hour). Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Brush sticks with additional butter (if desired). Cut the strips apart and remove to cool on wire rack.
