Hamburger Buns

1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed

Cut loaf into 6 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. Place ball on a greased cookie sheet, 2½ to 3 inches apart. Flatten balls slightly with palm of your hand to form bun. Brush with melted butter or margarine. Let rise in warm place until doubled in size (approximately 1-1½ hours). Brush tops of buns with egg wash (1 egg mixed with 2 tablespoons water). Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let buns cool slightly, then slice to split. For variety: after brushing with egg wash, sprinkle buns with sesame, poppy or caraway seeds, minced onion or finely grated cheese prior to baking.
