Fried Bread Sticks

1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed
Vegetable oil for frying
Powdered sugar

In a deep fat fryer or deep frying pan, heat oil to 350┬░. On a lightly floured surface, roll thawed loaf of dough into a rectangle that is about 8 x 12 inches. It is best to work with dough that has come to room temperature. With a pizza cutter, divide the dough into 8 equal pieces (12 inch long). Drop long pieces of dough in fryer a few at a time. Fry until puffy and golden brown. Remove from oil to cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
