Christmas Bear Filled with Clam Dip

2 loaves Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed or
1 pkg Bridgford Frozen White Rolls Dough, thawed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3 black gumdrops
16 oz sour cream
3 red gumdrops
2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
1 honey or Karo syrup
Thin (string-like) black licorice, approximately 3-inches
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 can (6.5 oz) chopped clams, drained
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp paprika

Shape one loaf of thawed dough into a round. This will form the body of the bear. Place this round on a large greased baking sheet. Take 2/3 of second loaf of dough and shape into a round This will form the head of the bear. Place this round on the baking sheet next to larger round of dough so that both rounds are touching. Flatten both rounds slightly. Take the remaining 1/3 loaf of dough and divide into 7 even pieces. Roll 4 of these into individual balls and attach each piece to sides of body; 2 for upper paws; 2 for lower paws. Take 2 of the remaining pieces and attach one piece to each side of bear’s head for the ears. Take the last piece of dough and shape into a circle 2½-inches in diameter. Attach this piece to the middle of the face. This will become the foundation for decorating face. Let the bear rise until doubled in size. Bake at 375° for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on top. If bear is browning too quickly, cover with foil and continue baking. While bear is baking, make dip. For dip, whip up cream cheese with beater. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly and place in refrigerator to enhance flavor. When bear has finished baking, remove it from baking sheet to cool on a wire rack. When cool, cut out a circle 6-inches in diameter from crust of bear’s belly, being careful not to cut all the way through. Hollow out belly. When ready to serve, fill belly with dip. To decorate, use 2 black gum drops for eyes, 1 black gum drop for nose. Using black string licorice, make a mouth. Place nose and mouth within circle on face. You may need to use a bit of honey or Karo syrup to attach eyes, nose and mouth. Tie a Christmas bow around neck. Can use red gumdrops for 3 buttons down belly, on dip if desired. Serve with bread slices, crackers, or vegetables.
