Broccoli Cheddar Rolls

1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed
10 oz frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained well
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp dried chopped onion
1 egg
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp melted butter or margarine

On a lightly floured board, roll dough out to a 12-inch square. Combine all remaining ingredients (except butter) in a small bowl. Spread filling mixture over dough. Roll up tightly in jelly-roll fashion. Pinch dough along edge to seal filling in. Slice roll into 8 equal pieces. Cut each slice in half again, not cutting all the way through. Fan out sides to form butterfly-shaped rolls. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and brush with melted butter or margarine. Let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 375┬░ for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Variation:

Add 1 cup diced cooked chicken, turkey or ham to filling.
